NTS Awarded Contract to Support US Army Expeditionary Signal Battalion-Enhanced Program (ESB-E)

NexTech Solutions (NTS) has been awarded a contract to support the U.S. Army’s Expeditionary Signal Battalion – Enhanced (ESB-E) units using the Klas Telecom Voyager Virtual Multi-Enclave System (VMES); a system built to meet the mission requirements of expeditionary communication units. Awarded via SEWP V, a Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), SEWP offers the easiest and fastest quoting and ordering procedures using pre-competed contracts with access to the very latest IT products and solutions with innovative procurement tools and processes to handle the most complex of IT procurement.

Expeditionary Signal Battalions (ESB) enables the U.S. Army with uninterrupted mission command and the ability to rapidly deploy and move across the battlefield. As a part of the Army’s continued efforts to modernize the tactical network, the ESB-E program supports units that don’t have organic communications capabilities, providing those units with alternative tactical network equipment that are smaller, lighter, more agile, and expeditionary.

Klas Telecom’s Voyager VMES enables the warfighter to observe, orient, decide and act faster than the enemy. It provides reliable communications anywhere, across all domains, and in any environment so our Soldiers can stay ahead of operations and provide uninterrupted network connectivity and mission command to the units supported.

“As the Army units field the first 48 units, we feel it will be very clear to the Army on how easy and flexible the Klas Telecom systems are to use and maintain while providing the most robust feature set at the Edge” said Biney Dhillon, CEO of NexTech Solutions. NTS and Klas Telecom are looking forward to providing the next generation of Tactical Edge systems with the modularity and flexibility needed to help the ESB-E teams to complete their mission.
