NexTech’s Billy Duffy appointed commander for Navy’s logistics support detachment at Coronado

Coronado, CA — Commander William “Billy” Duffy will assume command of the Navy’s Logistics Readiness Support DET A in a formal ceremony to be held at Coronado, CA on December 15.

CDR Duffy served in over 20 different countries for brief periods of time over the course of his 21-year career. Some of these countries include Iraq, Afghanistan, Jordan, Kuwait, Japan, and Cuba.

His personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service medal (2 awards), Joint Service Commendation and Navy Commendation medal, along with numerous Achievement medals.

He is blessed to be married to his beautiful wife Stacey and has three children: Brad (11), Hana (4) and Shea (2).
